What W.G.Archer had done for popular paintings from Bengal, Bihar and Orissa, K.C.Aryan did the same for folk and the popular, i.e. bazar school paintings from Punjab and Himachal; he also collected paintings in this genre from the rest of India as well. The collection is very vast. Glimpse an original Madhubani painting on fragile kite paper, painted with vegetable colours in the amazing collection.
